Real Estate Evaluator/Loan Administration | Red Bay, Alabama

Job Description

Perform property evaluation on real estate properties to accurately estimate the market value for financing purposes. Make site visits and inspect property. Fully evaluate and document evaluations in standard bank format, ensure the integrity of the evaluation, and meet all service level standards for responsiveness to bank customers.

Handles the activities, files, records and reconciliation of charge-off accounts, repossessions, lawsuits, bankruptcies, and litigation on assigned accounts. Provides regular reporting internally regarding collections, charge-offs and recovery activities. Provide administrative support to the loan department for various loan functions to include gathering information, prepare reports, communicate with customers and other loan staff. Create and update loan data in the system.

Minimum 2 years of loan or real estate related experience and/or education required or training equal to the skill level needed to perform this position. College education preferred but not required. Adheres to and assists in advancing new banking solutions as necessary. Proficiency in computer skills such as email, Excel, Word, Teams, etc. is requested.

Follow the Bank’s established policies and procedures relating to Loan/Credit Policy and Customer Information Security and is expected to be knowledgeable of loan product offerings. The position requires regularly working with confidential bank and customer information.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service attitude skills. Excellent understanding of customer needs and impact of support related to work. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of service. Highly effective at working in a fast-paced, dedicated team. Ability to work cohesively with all departments as needed.
