Real Estate Loan Processor/Loan Administration Specialist | Red Bay, AL

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION FOR- Loan Processor/Loan Administration Specialist:

Perform processing of real estate loans, as well as, preparing and distributing proper disclosures in a timely manner. Updating the customer of application status throughout the application-to-funding process. Process non-real property transactions for consumer and business customers. Aide in perfecting all loan processes, to include but not limited to: Keying loan maintenance, scanning documents, filing of collateral instruments such as Mortgages, DOT’s, UCC’s, Titles, etc., reviewing and mailing loan notices, assist in loan reporting and monitoring.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred:

  • One to two years loan processing or originating experience.
  • Familiarity of working with multiple lenders.
  • An organized candidate that is knowledgeable with TRID compliance.
  • Previous real estate experience, including but not limited to, reviewing information from third parties such as appraisal and title.

Proficiency in computer skills such as email, Excel, Word, Teams, etc. is requested. Understands and follows departmental standards. Adheres to and assists in advancing new banking solutions as necessary.

Follow the Bank’s established policies and procedures relating to Loan/Credit Policy and Customer Information Security and is expected to be knowledgeable of loan product offerings. The position requires regularly working with confidential bank and customer information.

Primarily work in a small team but must be effective at communicating with coworkers in all departments.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service attitude skills. Excellent understanding of customer needs and impact of support related to work. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of service. Highly effective at working in a fast-paced, dedicated team. Ability to work cohesively with all departments as needed.
